There are no dues or membership fees. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions.
Is it a religion?
AA is not affiliated with any sect or religion. It is a spiritual, non-religious fellowship open to people of all beliefs or none.
Do I have to give my real name?
We respect personal anonymity. In meetings, first names are usually used to preserve privacy.
How do I know if I am an alcoholic?
Only you can decide whether alcohol has become a problem in your life. If you want to stop drinking, we are here to help.
